About Our Roofing Work in The Village

Before we recommend any repair, we work out what is actually letting water into your roof. A ceiling stain might come from a cracked pipe boot, lifted flashing or a clogged valley, and each one needs a different fix. We confirm which it is, then we quote.

Why we diagnose before we quote

A leak rarely shows up directly under its source. Water slips past one weak spot, follows the sheathing or a framing member downhill, and finally soaks into drywall several feet away. That distance between entry point and stain is why first repairs so often miss. A crew replaces the shingles over the wet spot, while the real opening keeps taking on water. It might be a backed-out nail, a rusted step flashing or counterflashing that has worked loose from a chimney's mortar joint.

Our inspections are set up to close that gap. Where the attic is accessible, we start underneath, checking the decking for water marks, rust rings around nail tips and pinholes of daylight. Up top we work through the flashing, pipe boots, ridge and valleys before judging the shingles for granule loss, cracks and hail bruising. Every finding gets photographed, so you are looking at the same evidence we are.

Roofing The Village carries three Oklahoma licenses: a residential roofing license, a commercial roofing license and a general contractor license. Together they cover the work we take on, from roof repair on your home to commercial roof replacement on a low-slope building. The people who diagnose your roof are the same people who fix it.

How we work on your roof

  • Cause first, then the quote

We don't write an estimate until we can point to where the problem starts. If we can't confirm it on the first visit, we tell you so and explain what we need to check next, such as a water test on a suspect flashing.

  • An honest repair-or-replace answer

Plenty of roofs with a leak have years left. If the shingles are still flexible and the decking is sound, we recommend roof repair. When granules are gone, mats are cracking or the decking is soft in several areas, we explain why a roof replacement makes more sense than chasing leaks.

  • Line-item written estimates

Your estimate spells out the work: tear-off, decking replaced by the sheet if needed, underlayment, flashing, ventilation and disposal. You can see what moves the price and ask about any line.

  • Storm claims explained plainly

After hail or wind, we document damage with photos and measurements and walk you through how the insurance process usually runs. The adjuster makes the coverage decision. Our job is to show what is actually damaged and what is not.

Where we work

Roofing The Village is based in The Village, OK, and we take roofing jobs across the surrounding area, including Nichols Hills, Warr Acres, Oklahoma City, Bethany, Edmond, Midwest City, Yukon, Del City, Piedmont and Spencer. Spring hail and straight-line winds reach every one of those towns, so after a storm a large share of our calendar shifts to roof inspections and storm damage repair. We also replace or rehang gutters that hail has dented or wind has pulled loose from the fascia. You can find more of the places we cover on the Service Areas page.
